We are located in Alice, TX, off of South US HWY 281. Our mission is to please our customers and deliver the best service possible. Safety is a top priority in our facility and we strive for excellence.

Our History: Our first machine shop opened by W.L. Flowers was in Robstown, TX in 1936. Being extremely progressive and always looking to the future, Mr. Flowers established the A & W Tool Co. in Benavides, TX in 1937. Then to Orange Grove, TX, where the W.L. Flowers Machine & Welding Co. started in 1940. Five years later, the plant was moved to Alice, TX and many facilities added. 

Mr. Flowers, now deceased, left a reputation and legend behind him that anyone would be proud of. Those of you who remember him as a great machinist will also recall that he was quite a hunter and fisherman. His reputation throughout the industry was that of a fair dealer. You will find that his heirs, who are now operating the company keep striving to the utmost to live up to and carry on the tradition left by their father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, four generations later. It can truly be said that he was a great man.      

For 80 years, W.L. Flowers Machine and Welding Co., Inc. has specialized in the repair, fabrication, and manufacture of Oil Field Equipment. All efforts have been made to continuously improve the quality of our work which has always been of the highest standard. During the past several years, we have spent a great deal of time and effort in studying the maintenance and repair problems of Oil Field Equipment in the South Texas Area. Through this intense research, we have been able to evaluate and increase our understanding of the operator's problems and have streamlined our repair systems and production lines to give all our customers guaranteed satisfaction at the lowest possible cost.

In order to keep up with the fast-growing industry, we are continuously expanding and adding new equipment to our plant along with trained personnel to give you the fastest possible service.

By adopting methods of approved merits, using materials of the highest quality, and keeping up to date with the latest approved practices, and exercising the most rigid inspection of all our work, we endeavor to gain, foster, and hold the "Good Will" of our customers.

Our steady progress since the founding of our business bears witness to the fact that we have been successful in this endeavor to a marked degree.
